STONE MILLED
To this day, We continue to process rice using the traditional ‘mola,’ a stone mill invented in Northern Italy around 1850. The simple yet ingenious mechanism features two rounded, abrasive stones rotating together to gently remove the rice husk.
Our ‘Amburgo‘ machines house the traditional stone mill, delicately de-husking the rice to produce lustrous, bright grains that remain intact and rich in nutritional value.
